I object to having to buy another 5v power supply, I can't even see one listed. It could have been a Micro USB port and that would have been great. It does remind me of the situation we were in prior to phone makers needing to adopt one common std for the charging of them, we needed an individual charger for each device we had.! No drivers were needed when I tested its LAN capabilities when plugged into my main PC's USB 3 port. That way it works perfectly with my Amazon Fire stick allowing Ethernet connection. When it was clicked in all the way to make sure it didn't fall out, the power stopped and the lights went out.
So, the first unit i received had an issue with the main power USB plug. Please kindly note: this product Only works with DC 5V (Center Positive Polarity) adapter for power supply.
